Assorted Colony Polyps
Zoanthus Sp.
The Colony polyps vary in colour from brown, yellow, pink, blue and green dependant on the lighting they are under, the individual polyps stay small under 1 centimetre. They have the ability to sting other corals, the sting is not very strong and corals will recover if placed a safe distance away. polyps are an easy to keep soft coral and are suitable for beginners and experienced aquarists alike. Colonial polyps require medium light and a medium water flow.
The colonial polyp will reproduce heavily in a healthy environment; this can be helped by using additives such as iodine and other trace elements. They obtain most of their energy through photosynthesis, but the addition of micro plankton will help if lighting isn’t optimal
Colony polyps will be shipped out on a piece of live rock
