Red Top Ice Blue Cichlid

The Red Top ice blue is a stunning fish from Lake Malawi in Africa, its name derives from its colouration having an intense red dorsal fin and light blue contrasting body.
The Red Top requires a tank of at least 200 litres or more with plenty of rocks for territories and a gravel substrate. The Red top isn't as aggressive as some other cichlids and should be housed appropriately with other peaceful mbuna; it is not suitable for a community setup
The Red Zebra Cichlid will accept flake foods but vegetarian supplements like algae and Nori should be offered to ensure a healthy diet.
Red Zebras can be bred in the home aquarium. They are mouth brooders with the female carrying the fry for around 2 - 3 weeks.
