Assorted Angelfish
Pterophyllum sp.
Angelfish are a popular community fish instantly recognised by aquarists. They are a peaceful, slow moving fish with many fin and colour variations.
The Angelfish requires a tank of at least 120 litres or more with soft slightly acidic water, they like a well planted tank, with sparse ornaments to allow plenty of swim room. The angelfish a good peaceful community fish that mixes well with most other fish, although they may when older eat any small tetra that share a tank with them.
The Angelfish will accept flake foods, but meaty foods like bloodworm and brine shrimp should be offered sporadically to ensure a healthy diet
The Angelfish can be bred quite easily in the home aquarium. To get a pair, it is best to have a number of angels in a tank and allow them to pair off naturally. Eggs are laid on a flat surface like a slate or plant pot, they are fertilised by the male shortly afterwards. Eggs hatch roughly 3 days later.
The Assorted angel fish are priced per one fish, you will receive a random colouration from what is held in stock
