Agassizi Cory Cat

Coming from the Rivers of Peru, South America, the Agasizzi Cory cat is a calm bottom-feeder. The fish has may black spots over its body with a black stripe across the eye region. As with other Cory cats, this fish loves nothing better than a well planted tank that offers refuges from other fish and from bright light.
A number of sensory barbels are present around it mouth and the fish uses these to locate potential food items. Smooth gravel or sand on the bottom of the tank will help prevent damage to these barbels. Being an omnivore the fish will thrive on a diet that includes live food as well as flaked food.
