Gouramis
With 49 species, this is one of the smaller families of tropical fish. They live entirely in freshwater and are distributed in areas such as Malaya, India, Pakistan and Korea. These fish are well known in the aquarium trade, because of their wide range of colours and they tend to be compatible with many other species of fish. The Dwarf Gouramis are becoming more and more popular because of their intense colours.
