Albino Shark
Epalzeorhynchus Frenatus
As with other sharks, this fish will fit in with most semi aggressive fish. Make sure that they are the only species of shark in the tank, however, as they tend to become more aggressive with other sharks. The body of this fish is a pale white to light pink colour, and it has striking red fins and eyes.
A tank which contains driftwood, and rock refuges, along with areas of dense planting will be the ideal home for this fish. The fish is a generalist eater, and will eat everything from flaked food to freeze dried and live food.
Suggested tank companions: Barbs, Danios, Gouramis, Rainbowfish, similar sized New World Cichlids
Approximate Purchase Size: Medium 4cm - 6cm
Due to variations within each species, your aquatic life may not look identical to the image provided.
