The Raccoon Butterfly is a distinctive, relatively peaceful fish that is kept by both the beginner and the more experienced aquarist alike. The raccoon is a hardy butterfly that will even eat large stinging anemones when hungry

It requires a tank of 300 litres or more with plenty of rock work and hiding places. The raccoon butterfly is not suited to a reef aquarium as it will eat shrimps, anemones, soft or stony corals, armored crustaceans may be safe. It should be fed a varied diet of marine foods including, brine shrimp and chopped fish and other frozen preparations
