Tank Bred Maroon Clown

Premnas biaculeatus

The Maroon Clownfish is one of the more aggressive of the clownfish. Best kept individually or in a mated pair as they are aggressive towards each other and all other types of clownfish

The maroon clownfish requires a tank of 120 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places. The maroon clown is reef safe and will not eat any corals or shrimps. The maroon clown will host in some anemones in captivity particularly Entacmaea quadricolor. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but should be supplemented with meaty foods like brine shrimp and crustacean flesh.
