Bluefin Angelfish

Centropyge multispinis

The Bluefin Angelfish is one of similar in appearance to the coral beauty, but grows to a larger size of 15 cm. Best kept individually, since it can be territorial with its own kind, and similar species.

It requires a tank of 120 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places. When kept in a larger environment the fish will be more placid. Most dwarf angels are algal grazers, but also eat small non-sessile invertebrates, like brine shrimp and mysis. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but benefit from the addition of some vegetable material like Nori.

Approximate Purchase Size: Small 2cm - 4cm, Medium 4cm - 6cm, Large 6cm - 8cm
