The Zebra Moray eel is one of the most eye-catching, and docile of all marine eels making it popular for the community aquarium. Multiple specimens can be kept together if introduced simultaneously.

It requires a tank of 200 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places in which it can hide its entire body length and a firmly attached lid as they are known to escape. The zebra Moray isn’t reef compatible it will eat ornamental crabs and shrimps and may topple loose corals or rockwork. They adapt well to frozen foods and can be hand fed with a feeding stick.
