Falco Hawkfish
Cirrhitichthys falco
The Falco Hawk fish, also known as the dwarf hawk fish is the smallest aquarium hawk fish making it popular to both the experienced and beginner aquarist alike. Multiple specimins can be housed if introduced simultaneously.
It requires a tank of 80 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places. The dwarf hawk fish will spend most of its time sitting on the aquarium floor waiting for passing food. The Dwarf hawkfish isn’t a threat to corals, but may eat small shrimps. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but benefit from the addition of some carnivores material like Brine shrimp or shellfish.
