The Lamarck Angelfish is an elegant and easy to keep angel fish making it a popular addition for the beginner and experienced aquarist alike. They can be kept in groups, but only one male to a tank is recommended.
It requires a tank of 400 litres with plenty of rock work and hiding places. The Lamarck's angel is reef compatible and can be kept with all corals. The Lamarck's angel is very active during the day, and may chase smaller fish like dart fish and small wrasse's but will usually leave other fish including other angels alone. Not a fussy eater the Lamarck's angel will readily take frozen and flake food, but its diet should also contain some herbivorous food like nori
