The Fox face is a an attractive and hardy fish making it popular to beginners and experienced aquarists. They should be housed individually when older as it will fight with other related species, but is peaceful with all other fish. The fox face has venomous spike so be careful when handling

It requires a tank of 300 litres or larger with plenty of live rock to hide in. The Fox face is not reef compatible as it may graze on good and bad algae, mostly ignoring corals but sometimes eating LPS and polyps. They will eat most foods but should have their diet supplemented with vegetable matter like Nori. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods.
