Bamboo Shark
Chiloscyllium plagiosum
The spotted Bamboo Shark is also referred to as a cat shark because of the resemblance between it and catfish. The bamboo shark can be kept in pairs in a large enough aquariums, although the male may often harass the females. The bamboo shark will reproduce in the aquarium.
It requires a tank of 600 litres or larger with plenty open water for it to swim in and plenty of caves for it to hide in rock work needs to be firmly attached as the shark has been known to dig down and dislodge rockwork and corals. The bamboo shark should be fed on meaty preparations like shrimp, clams, or chopped fish.
