Yellow Tang
Zebrasoma flavescens
The Yellow Tang perhaps the most well know and popular fish amongst marine aquarists. Best kept individually in tanks of 300 litres, but can be kept in groups if introduced simultaneously in aquariums of 500 litres. They can be aggressive once established, so should be introduced as a last tang or put in at the same time as other tangs.
It requires a tank of 300 litres or larger with plenty of live rock for grazing and plenty of open water for it to swim in. Tangs will eat meaty foods, but should also be supplemented with vegetarian matter like Nori to keep them healthy. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but benefit from the addition of some vegetable material like Nori.
