Blue Throat Triggerfish

The Blue throat Triggerfish is beautiful but also one of the only trigger fish that can safely be kept in a reef system. They can be kept in groups in a large enough aquarium of one male and two females.

It requires a tank of 300 litres with plenty of rock work and hiding places. The Blue throat trigger is reef compatible and wont harm corals, large specimens may eat shrimps. The blue throat can be fed on a variety of marine foods, fresh and frozen marine shrimp fish and other flesh should be offered along with herbivores fish foods. This trigger has a habit of spitting water at passers by, so beware of any electrical equipment
