Yellow Wrasse
Halichoeres chrysus
The Yellow Wrasse is a bright, dazzling and easy to keep fish popular ain large and small aquariums. The yellow wrasse can be housed with other docile wrasse including themselves, and can be kept in groups of 5 in large aquariums.
It requires a tank of 120 litres or larger with plenty of live rock and deep sandy bottom to hide in when startled and to sleep in at night. The Radiant wrasse is a good reef fish eating small pyramidellid snail and flatworms, protecting corals; they can on occasion however eat feather dusters, small snails and shrimp. Wrasses will eat meaty foods like finely chopped sea foods and brine. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods. When smaller they will act as a cleaner fish removing parasites from tank mates
