The Crown Conch is an excellent sand sifter suitable for larger home aquariums. They can be housed in groups larger aquariums as long as there is enough food for them to survive.
They require a tank of 120 litres or larger with plenty of sand area in which to scavenge. The Crown conch is reef compatible and beneficial to a reef setup Grazing on all types of algae, micro algae and detritus. A natural scavenger they are self sufficient in the home aquarium and should have enough natural food growth to live
The Crown Conch, like all inverts is intolerant to any copper based medications
